Etihad befindet sich vollständig im Besitz des Emirats Abu Dhabi. Vom Flughafen Abu Dhabi aus bedient Etihad Airways Ziele in Europa, Asien, Afrika, Australien als auch Nord- und Südamerika. Im deutschsprachigen Raum werden Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, München, Genf, Wien und Zürich angeflogen.
